To Hancock Stables
in East Freedom, Pennsylvania is owned and operated by Allan G. Hancock. Our purposes are
to breed, train, and board the Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Mountain
Horse. After careful research and consideration of all gaited breeds,
we committed ourselves to the Rocky. We believe that the Rocky possesses
the finest qualities including quiet disposition, love of people,
enormous intelligence and curiosity, easy keeping, and of course gait.
If we had to describe the Rocky in one word it would be sensible.
Our staff includes full time Professional Trainer : Alex Brehm.
We are involved with the Rockys on
a full time basis and are directly involved in  their
daily care. There is a strong commitment to the Rockys'
overall welfare including the use of the best feeds available, regular
and consistent veterinary care, and the availability of appropriate
shelter. The Rocky is, by its nature, an easy keeper. We hope to provide
an environment that protects and promotes this tendency. A healthy
Rocky is a happier Rocky!
The Rocky Mountain Horse is a
relatively young breed and the numbers of horses is limited. We thoroughly
enjoy our interaction in the growth and progress of these horses.
